Deborah Langley was unable to attend the meeting, but I'm posting an email she sent so we have her notes and input.
Beings I am not making this meeting: The election and voter registration rallied folks here. I feel the Ed re study will keep locals interested.
Another thing locals are interested in is surface water: concerns for safe for sports, swimming, Recreation wether boats or fishing and drinking. What does CAFOs, coal burning slug, etc. do to pollute Our streams which go to Lakes? What about the algae plums, zebra mussels, introduced carp, water diversions for projects (or sold out of state), and low lake levels? Now that the EPA, etc. Federal agencies are dissolving regulations and OK needs to step up. We tried consolidation of OK agencies 1998 and undone 2013. Great for cost savings and Clean water we thought. OK Water Resources Board has an updated plan made 1997-2012 But how is implementation going? Complications with some of the lakes belonging to Federal like Corps of Engineers, and others. And where do the American Indian Tribes Fit in?
Not asking for a study but information for awareness and diligence particularly in odd Years. Thanks. Deborah Langley

Thanks. Just for future, it would be nice to have the zip code for my simple GPS. Does this mean that if one can be there by lunch you need to know to order the lunch From . . . .?
